5 Month Contract
Pay: up to £192 per day (PAYE)
Job Purpose
This role will support GSK Treasury in preparing for the separation of the Consumer Healthcare business in the summer of 2022.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Treasury Analyst will support the Treasury Consultancy and Insurance Teams in preparing for Consumer Healthcare separation in summer 2022.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Project management and delivery of vendor contract separation. Acting as a liaison between GSK Treasury, Procurement, Legal and external counsel. Supporting commercial negotiations with oversight from the GSK Treasury team.
- Project management and delivery of vendor system separation. Planning and execution of Treasury system separation with support from the wider GSK Treasury team. Ensuring the appropriate transfer of Legacy data between new GSK and Consumer Healthcare systems.
- Separation of bank and insurer credit facilities including overdrafts, guarantee and surety bond facilities. Liaising with the business to confirm requirements in the future state, processing of internal approvals and document execution.
- Assist in balance sheet disentanglement of asset/liability balances relating to Treasury or Insurance.
- Vendor management including Banks, Insurance companies, Brokers and supporting suppliers.
- Act as a representative for Treasury in Future Ready workstreams.
- Additional ad-hoc Future Ready work as required including data collection and analytics, report writing and presentations.
- Interact with LoCs (Local Operating Companies) where required to accomplish the above tasks.
- Bachelor's degree (in Commerce, Finance or Law)
- Ideally be studying towards an ACII/ACT qualification
- 3+ years' experience in financial services, insurance or treasury
- Project management skills
- Good communication skills
- Commercial acumen
