Trainee Desktop Engineer 1st/2nd line X 5 £140 per day Inside IR35 Bristol
Trainee Desktop Support Engineer is required to join the team on a contract basis. Trainee Desktop Engineer (1st/2nd line) will be a member of the IT Service Delivery team, which is responsible for providing first and second level technical support, project-based work, and service delivery both on and off site. This can include application, system, and hardware related technical support, technical lead on projects and installations covering all the IT services. The team also have responsibility for some network installation and configuration work.
Trainee desktop Engineer will provide support on a day to day basis, investigate and problem solve a range of IT issues, to advise customers and undertake some end user training. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support for all hardware and software related IT issues.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Enthusiastic and customer focused with a genuine interest in solving IT issues.
- Technically competent and be willing to collaborate with the wider IT support teams.
- Educated to A Level or degree level or holds a relevant IT professional qualification or has IT experience in a technical service delivery and support environment
- A good standard of communication and inter-personal skills
- Capable of analysing and capturing customer requirements for all technical requests and identifying and implementing solutions where appropriate
