Contract: Jira Configuration Manager
Day Rate: £400 - £450 per day
Contract length: 6 months initial
Set up: Outside IR35, Statement of work
Clients location: Leeds

My client are looking for an Jira Configuration Manager to fulfil an immediate requirement and can accommodate someone starting as early as Monday 9th August.
As a Jira Configuration Manager you would be working alongside development squads and Agile Delivery Managers to:
- Improve and update current standard Jira workflow
- Configure, update and maintain Agile tribe, product and squad Jira dashboards
- Bridge the link between Jira/Confluence and the Engineering leads to support automated integration with the clients engineering tooling and CI platforms
- Manage Jira to maintain its integrity through structured permission trees
- Produce Jira reports on team performance
Essential experience for this contract:
- Significant experience of configuring Jira
- Governance around Jira commissions
- Solid experience of Agile software delivery workflows and be able to consult the client on this
- Experience of Jira plugin capabilities
- Experience managing permission structures within Jira/Confluence
- Experience of setting up and configuring confluence documentation spaces
*We are not looking for a Technical Author just someone to manage the way our clients confluence documentation is structured)
Nice to have but not essential:
- Anyone who has some basic coding experience to help with integrations with Concourse or git.
