UX Researcher/User Researcher/UI Researcher

£ per day inside IR35 through a payroll solutions company.
MUST HAVE: experience within a B2B role - understand the importance of being an extension of the organisations business relationships. Know how to make yourself aware of any 'sensitivities' that could affect these relationships and your research projects. Can successfully build relationships internally with key stakeholders to help with buy-in and promote the benefits of user centric based research. Must be low ego!
- Start date - early Aug until end Sept (likely extended to end Dec also - but initial contract is until end Sept)
- Need to be a hands on' usability study research practitioner - Lean research. Need to be proficient in running mixed method research, with experience managing senior stakeholders and recruitment
- Predominantly qualitative user research & usability testing - discovering issues and user needs using a wide range of research methods including moderated lab-based and unmoderated testing, however quantitative may also be required, notably survey work.
- Previous B2B experience a big plus - will be operating in the Wholesale tribe so must understand nuances of working into reseller contexts
- Priorities will be to be given research tickets from the Product Owner/s from the Wholesale digital Tribe and have the research executed quickly and insights shared efficiently
- Recruitment of suitable participants to be managed with the marketing, CX (Maureen) and internal account management teams -PLUS CONTRIBUTING TO BUILDING OUR RECRUITMENT CAPABILITY INTERNALY AS THEY PERFORM THE RESEARCH.
- Tooling: Previous experience of Usertesting.com, Optimal Workshop and Userlitics nice to have, but not mandatory - THE EXPERIENCE IN METHODS (eg, USABILITY TESTING, CARD SORTING, INTERVIEWS, SURVEYS) IS MORE IMPORTANT
- Character: Must be self-starter, passionate for research, can pick up work to date and build on it, low ego but can communicate clearly and challenge, manage expectations with POs and with senior stakeholders and present insights back to business
