Smartsourcing are looking for a Security Cleared Change Project Manager to work on a contract based in London for our Public Sector/Gov client (Currently Remote) for an estimated period of To 31st December 2021. The contract may be subject to an extension period. This role falls Inside IR35.

The responsibilities for this role include:
- Create and lead the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.
- Day-to-day management and leadership of the project. Set project controls. Design the project structure appropriate to the stage. Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies.
- Develop and draft Business Cases and other Project Documentation.
- Build the project plan and apply appropriate project principles to deliver stated objectives. Identify and set appropriate project controls. Track and report delivery against milestones.
- Track delivery of the project within budget.
- Ensure an appropriate benefits realisation strategy is in place.
- Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.
- Identify project risks and issues. Manage mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.
- Provide key reports and support effective governance and decision making.
'support or set appropriate project assurance.
- Ensure effective change management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.All deliverables will be produced to a quality standard aligned to industry recognised requirement management practice.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills. Experience engaging diverse range of stakeholders
- Proven experience to decompose complex issues to appropriate level of detail through the application of system analysis
- Experience of working with Intelligence and/or data exploitation environment
- Full understanding of systems engineering life cycle and V model. Experience tailoring approach to a particular project.
- Business analysis experience
- Project Management expertise
Desirable:
- Practical experience of architecture frameworks (eg MODAF, TOGAF)
- Mentor in a non-line management capacity
- Knowledge of Agile Development/Delivery

APM Project Management Qualification.
APM Practitioner Qualification.
