The job
As our new Solution Architect Data & Analytics, you will join an innovative and collaborative technology team to advance the enterprise data analytics platform using modern technologies, cloud architectures, and development best practices.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Develop technology specifications and ensuring that new Performance Management solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness
Apply enterprise architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability
Formulate and recommends standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the DW ecosystem
Maintain accurate and complete technical architectural documents
Ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly
Work closely with all business areas to capture Performance Management requirements
Apply enterprise data management practices and principles in ways of working
Identify patterns, trends and insight through use of the appropriate tools
Identify data quality issues through data profiling, analysis and stakeholder engagement
Collaborate closely with our Lead Architects and the leadership team
Work closely with our IT security, IT operations, project managers and the other IT departments to ensure compliance and alignment
Review designs and assist in creating guidelines for external collaborators and suppliers
Take active part in vendor selections
