Our client are a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced IT analyst. This is initially a 1 year contract which may be extended for the right applicant. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and Provide (IT/Systems) technical and data/information management expertise, coordinate others or work within a team to specify, implement, configure, develop, maintain and support a range of major IT business systems, effectively - and autonomously - managing conflicting priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.
The successful applicant will primarily lead on the implementation of COVID-19 GIS Solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online Solutions, and support the transitioning of users to the new Solution.
The candidate will also be involved in helping deliver other ArcGIS Solutions to a wide range of Council business users as part of our LIBI (Locational Intelligence Business Insights) project.
The successful candidate must be also be prepared to support non-GIS Environmental systems (i,e. MAYRISE, M3, RingGo, Imperial 360) on a rota basis - currently Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00.
This role will require the successful candidate to adopt a strategic mindset and approach along with an operational one.
Excellent communication skills are essential as they will need engage with Stakeholders at all levels and be able to explain complex technical information to non-technical staff.
The candidate must be proficient in working with ArcGIS Enterprise, specifically Portal and ArcGIS Online.
