Data Engineer - Public Sector - Glasgow - Outside IR35
Day Rate - up to £465
Duration - 6 months
Harvey Nash's Client are looking for Data Engineer. As the Data Engineer you will be an integral member of the data team that drives development of new services. You will help create user-focused data solutions by analysing, preparing, transforming, loading, and maintaining data and systems with a strong focus on delivering fit-for-purpose services.
You will be working within a small data analytical and engineering team, however you will be required to work outwith the team in conjunction with business analysts, product owners, subject specialists, managers, and others as required.
You will support the implementation the digital transformation. This service design team are looking specifically at the systems and processes involved in managing financial transactions with businesses who have successfully applied for business support. The review of these services will require hands on business analysis as well as working within an agile delivery team with varied tasks involved day to day.

- Power BI and Power Query.
- Azure SQL Database and TSQL
- PowerShell,

- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse (Kimball method)
- Integration Services
- Entity Relation Modelling (Logical and physical)
- UML or other methodologies
- Data flow diagramming
