Finance Systems Analyst
Our public sector client are looking for someone who has technical expertise supporting Finance systems (ideally Civica or something similar) and relevant reporting related expertise (e,g. Business Objects).
The ideal candidate will have experience with the Civica Financials platform. This could be from previous technical development, accountancy work or system maintenance/management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on finance and purchasing system development including exploring, identifying and planning potential areas for service, process and system improvement to enhance and modernise service delivery and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain, control and develop finance and purchasing systems ensuring the operation of integrity controls, requirements of system users and audit are met, overall compliance with legislation, regulations
- Manage and maintain the external finance and purchasing system suppliers contracts, review the operation of and compliance with processes and procedures and ensure that the suppliers deliver the agreed services.
- Provide an expert technical support, consultancy and advice service to both internal and external customers ensuring all queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for finance and purchasing systems and associated interfaces. Undertake detailed technical analysis of the most complex system problems and design and implement workable solutions.
- Provide technical support to projects across Business Operations as identified in the overall development programme to given timescales and agreed standards.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective monitoring and reporting systems and demonstrable analytical skills to analyse and interpret service data to inform decision making and enable service delivery to be enhanced.
