MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Oversight of the Service Cost Management and Hardware purchasing functions. Works closely with the IT Finance team, Business & IT leadership and Finance Professionals across the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly hardware consumption data
- Manage the provision of consumption-based recharge cost data for all business units on a monthly basis
- Own the management of Hardware suppliers
- Ensure compliance with all business, corporate and regulatory demands.
- Management of vendors, suppliers and 3rd party service providers for contract negotiations and renewals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience
- A management role held in an Infrastructure, Project Management or Business relationship background
- Experience of Technology service or support operations, ideally gained in other IT organisations
- Strong understanding of IT organisational finances preferably including budgets, forecasting and recharging
- Good knowledge of budgeting and purchasing processes with a solid understanding of financial terms and process
- A good understanding and oversight of the Requisition, Purchasing, Receipting and Management of the Procuremnt financial process.
Problem Solving, Analysis and Reasoning
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for financial modelling and analysis
- Able to use multiple problem solving methodologies
