SAP Data Modeller SAC Consultant - 6 months rolling £ per day (outside IR35)
The UK transport sector is responsible for supporting the transport network that serves people and businesses around the UK and controls a £600bn spend portfolio, Projects include London Underground, high-speed trains and major highways, and feature transportation infrastructure costs, delivery plans, production schedules and carbon footprint strategies.
You will be working as part of the intelligent infrastructure project that aims to provide greater work visibility, transparency, encouraging innovation and making transportation projects more efficient and lowering emissions, improving the environment and saving costs.
We are looking for an SAP Data Modeller and SAP SAC consultant to join this really innovative and exciting project. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary SAP Delivery Team translating business requirements into detailed architecture design and delivering technical and functional requirements.
Technical
Focus on Datamodelling (SAP HANA, WebIDE) 5-7 years experience
Integration with 3rd Party/API/Legacy sources (OData, CPI)
Deployment and promotion of development in a structured manner (GIT)
Experience creating visualisation of data model (SAP SAC Story/Analytical Apps)
Troubleshoot product bugs, develop innovative solutions to requirements that may not have a frame of reference.
Support the team to technical upskill
Functional
Translate requirements from diverse & unfamiliar functional areas into solution designs
Ability to challenge requirements to achieve pragmatic/best value outcome
Distill requirements into succinct workpackages
Plan, track and monitor work list using agile methods (JIRA)
Support wireframing/testing
