FPSG are key partners into a large, high-profile, SC Cleared level project which requires some more SC Cleared Informatica Consultants, with specific experience in IDQ/Powercenter.
Informatica Consultant - IDQ/Powercenter - SC Clearance, active within the last 12 months is essential (NB...due to nature of the work, this is non-negotiable advice directly from the end Client, so please do be aware of this to avoid disappointment if you do not meet the criteria).
Location: You will be issued with a laptop and equipment, allowing you to work fully remotely - (Subject to Change based on government guidelines and client requirements, but not expected to be on-site for the foreseeable future).
We are currently requiring skilled Informatica Consultants to support an Informatica delivery for our client based near Nottingham, in Central England. You will be deployed into a fast paced and dynamic environment deploying data warehousing solutions in-line with project scope.
Typical activities include, but will not be restricted to:
Designing and Building Star Schema's based on existing reporting requirements;
Data Analysis of the existing source system to view data quality and completeness to fulfil requirements;
Designing transformation rules required for cleansing and data enrichment
Source to Target mapping and data movement (ETL) routines using Informatica products
Peer Review code of team to provide quality assurance
Release Management into Test and Prod environments
Participating in daily Scrum meetings
As part of this requirement we are looking for candidates with the following skills:
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to express technical concepts and issues into user friendly language
Informatica PWC/IDQ
Data Warehousing Data Model Design and Implementation
Efficient Peer Review techniques
SQL
Knowledge of data analysis techniques, with a focus on requirements validation and analysis
SDLC methodologies, preferably Agile
