Job description summary
Identify projects, subsidiary programs, and program activities that contribute to deliver expected benefits of the program.
Ensure program components are managed in a coordinated and complementary manner to obtain expected benefits of the program.
Manage the program in a manner that accepts and adapts to change as necessary to optimize the delivery of benefits as the program's components deliver outcomes and/or outputs. Adjust program strategy when relevant.
Build the high-level planning of the program, identify and manage interdependency between projects.
Monitor progress of program components to ensure the overall goals, schedules, budget, and benefits of the program will be met.
Guide planning at projects level using program plan.
Evaluate the program ability to deliver its intended benefits to the organization, and the program efficiency and effectiveness in delivering those benefits.
Identify and align stakeholders while ensuring the consistency of objectives in terms of Safety, Quality, Costs and deadlines.
Set up adequate governance (Steerco), ensure key decisions are endorsed at the right level of the organization.
Identify, quantify and mitigate risks during the duration of the program.
Define and follow the communication plan of the program.
Coordinate with technical experts (SME).
Identify and manage interfaces between projects, impacts of projects on each other."

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
The customer is looking for a program manager to work on two programs (Fire remediation and asphyxiating gases)
Both programs come from a risk assessment and have been identified as High Severity Risk
The program is ongoing but Is not correctly managed.
Several projects are in the scope (Capex, Opex, Regulatory, Maintenance - about 15 projects)
They are looking for someone able to understand the context and the association risks.
Able to discuss with the (approx. 100) stakeholders (Project Managers, Head of production Unit, EHS responsible, etc) and define priorities
Manage overall planning (approx.. 2-3 years) and budget.
