Description

What will you be doing?
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable Barclays' standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Build E-learning courses related to IT Service Management (ITSM) in Barclays learning platform
Write, revise, edit, and proofread process documents, procedural instructions, Knowledge Articles, FAQs etc.
Create and maintain contextual help (Guided tours & hover Texts)
Manage IT Service Management Wiki using Confluence and Global Process Document and Training Library
Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and technical specifications and adheres to Barclays' standards for quality, graphics, format, and style
Provide information in various other forms including process awareness decks, wikis using text, illustrations and graphics.
Collaborate with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialised topics are appropriately discussed and documented
Assist in establishing style guidelines and standards

What we're looking for:
Writing, editing and communication skills :
Proven working experience in technical writing of process and technical documentation
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to explain technical information clearly
An eye for detail, and a thorough and methodical approach
Have the ability to deliver high quality work under pressure to tight deadline.
Strong (expert level) working knowledge of Microsoft Office - specifically Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel. Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
Skills that will help you in the role:
Working experience in building content using LMS platform.
SharePoint, Wiki, Confluence type skills experience of building/maintaining on-line estates.
Knowledge of and experience in an IT Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow) and ITIL processes
