Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Finance Transformation Manager, a 10 month contract working for a well-known organisation, deemed as inside of IR35 (candidates must be happy to work through an umbrella company) daily rate of £420 - £480 a day. Remote working with some adhoc work in our clients Reading Office.
The Role
- Working on a Core Platform Replacement project you will be reporting to the Head of Finance Customer Transformation. The new Core Platform is both an Operational and Financial system integrating into our clients main Financial system, Oracle.
- As the Customer Transformation Manager will need to develop your knowledge of the new system, Business processes and data model, and understand the impact on the existing Finance processes, to support a successful transition.
- You will be required to support the Customer Transformation Manager, as a Finance expert, working across the Programme, ensuring integrity of the Financial ledger, supporting data readiness activities, completing functional and integration testing, supporting transition to the new financial processes and reporting.
- Given the intended pace of this programme the successful candidate will be expected to take an agile approach to the role.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Analytical mind, strong communication and presentational skills, highly organised. Accustomed to working in large complex organisations to challenging deadlines in an agile environment.
- Understanding of ERP systems, processes and workflow technology
- Understanding of Financial Control and Governance framework related to Systems
- Ability to make a positive impact in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to understand complex issues and communicate them in simple terms
- Able to support business change, questioning the status quo
- Qualified Accountant
- Background in systems change and new systems implementation
- Experience in working in environments with significant level of Business change
- Confident in interpreting and documenting logical data structures to support accounting, analysis, reporting and integration requirements
- Accustomed to handling large quantities of data, high attention to detail, proficient in financial reconciliations, able to identify data quality issues and anomalies
- Proficient in the use of MS Office suite, advanced Excel skills.
