MHC are hiring a IT Risk Manager to join us on a PAYE Contract basis and work on-site at a London based Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting business and central function portfolios through the Group Risk Project Partnership (GRPPS) framework, pro-actively initiating and overseeing operational risk assessments for strategic and other material change initiatives
- Adopting a business partnering approach with key technology stakeholders across the Group and for targeted business areas
- Providing appropriate management information to provide clear visibility of the assurance programme and the risk posture of the divisional change portfolio
- Ensure timeliness and high-quality reporting of technology risks in divisional risk registers
- Engaging with Group Project Management and IT Service Design & Transition to identify process improvements and best practice
- Providing guidance and challenge to 1st line of defence on risk and control management, technology strategy and delivery
- Encouraging best practice and continuous improvement and adherence to the overall Group Risk framework
- Attendance and participation in relevant committees, forums, project boards and workshops
- Delivery of training and workshops to key stakeholders and employees
- Develop strong risk culture and promote awareness
- Ensuring adherence to the Group's Risk Framework
- Supporting and challenging technology practices including development, QA, release management and operational processes and procedures
- Provide oversight and challenge of IT policies and procedures, including service delivery, incident management and change delivery.
