Product Owner - Cloud Data Platform/Agile/AWS - URGENT

Sentinel is working with a major multinational construction industry provider, searching for a Product Owner/Manager with strong Agile software development experience particularly in Data Platform Services on cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
You will lead a team who is developing a mission-critical set of data platform services on which data savvy Insights Managers, Data Scientists and Data Engineers build the relevant data products and pipelines to support digital marketing initiatives and enable data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Marketing Data Platform development teams with the relative product's vision in line with company strategy and the Marketing & Sales Data team's over-arching priorities
- Partner and serve as the key contact for the relevant user groups and business owners, to understand their needs, their products (eg models, BI datamarts, campaigns, reports) and their different technology stacks
- Analyse and prioritize requirements, transform ideas, and wishes into a structured yet agile development agenda for MDP services/features across both short and long- term objectives
- Own and maintain a continuous product backlog for the relevant teams (eg scrum) including requirement prioritization
- Collaborate with Data/Solution Architects and Data Engineers on defining pipelines and warehousing strategies
- Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing of functional requirements
- Ensure SLAs for relevant products are understood and met by the development teams
- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders about downtime, bugs, and issues as well as new developments and KPI/platform improvements
- Secure adequate and timely technical and business-related documentation
Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience in a Product Owner/Product Manager role or equivalent, with proven experience in designing products and leading development to success
- Experience of agile development and methods, such as design thinking and excellent business background to craft business cases
- Lateral Leader, community builder, ability to moderate and adapt communication/presentation quickly to groups with heterogeneous backgrounds
- Natural leader in data-driven product design
- Experience developing Data (Platform) Services on Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
- Strong plus: Data Analytics/Data Science/BI experience
