SAP Change Manager - English Speaking - Lisbon, Portugal. 40% Remote Work. Flexible Start Date from the 25th October 2021 Onwards. 9 Month Contract. END-CLIENT!
Our end-client based in the region of Lisbon, Portugal, requires a highly experienced SAP Change Manager to assist them with a migration project from an old Legacy JDE system to SAP ECC6.
They are looking for someone to ideally start ASAP, but there is a degree of flexibility and can wait until the 15th November 2021.
The SAP Change Manager is responsible for leading on business change for the deployment. The Change Manager develops change plans and has responsibility for the day to day activity undertaken by site-based Junior Change Managers to support the readiness of the business to receive the global template. Draws on support from the Deployment Teams to direct the change management activities of the Super Users/Key Users, Site Lead and local site Leadership Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Readiness:

  • Develop and execute a local stakeholder engagement plan
  • Coach and prepare leaders to lead change

Change Management Leadership:

  • Lead change management activities
  • Co-ordinate the work of site-based Junior Change Managers to deliver business change.
  • Develop local change management plan that is aligned to the global change management strategy
  • Deploy global change management toolkit
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the change management toolkit for future developments

Impacts of Change:

  • Work with Site Teams (and Junior Change Managers where applicable) to:
    • Drive the identification and assessment of local impacts of change (IOC)
    • Ensure the development of detailed Action plans for each IOC
    • Ensure engagement and alignment with Site Leadership in respect of key IOCs and Action Plans
    • Support and coach SUs to communicate the people impact

Benefits:

  • Work with Site Teams (and Junior Change Managers where applicable) to:
    • Drive the identification and assessment of potential benefits of change
    • Ensure that potential benefits are quantified and prioritised
    • Ensure engagement and alignment with Site Leadership in respect of key benefits to be realised
    • Establish a baseline for key benefits and a plan to track realisation

Communications and Engagement:

  • Own the local communication strategy - plan and coordinate delivery of local communications
  • Ensure that the interests of local stakeholders are effectively managed by the Deployment Teams and Junior Change Managers where applicable
  • Support and coach SUs to communicate the people impact

Training:

  • Oversee the development local training plans, directing activities by the Junior Change Managers and local HR team

Organisational Alignment:

  • Arrange and follow through on local role mapping education activities for SU
  • Work with local HR leads and Junior Change Managers to put in place the structures needed for sustainability - especially Super User/Key User role and training and access coordination
  • Where appropriate communicate to leaders the impact of change related to roles, people and workload

OCM Governance

  • Identify, implement, track and report on business readiness through Leadership and OCM Governance forums
  • Proactively and effectively manage the OCM deliverables within the OCM plan and the Deployment plan

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must have several years of solid experience in SAP Change Management.
  • Experience of change management with in a large-scale programme (ideally systems based)
  • Experience of working within the site national culture (eg: Portugal) ideally in manufacturing
  • Organised and methodical in general approach to work

Languages:

  • Must be fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking)

Work Load:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Latest Start Date: 15th November 2021
  • End date: 8th July 2022
  • 5 days per week
  • 8 hours per day
  • Up to 40% Remote work is permitted subject to the phase of the deployment
