For a January start in a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced  


IT Business Analyst - Portfolio Mgmt / UML

In this role, you are responsible for functional requirements of portfolio management processes.  



Your Qualifications:


  • 8+ years’ experience as IT Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer within the financial industry  

  • In-depth knowledge of the banking environment, financial products, Swiss and European regulatory frameworks as well as portfolio management and advisory processes

  • Good understanding of software development processes, preferable previous experience as a developer

  • Well versed in UML with the ability to model domain models or visualize dynamic flows, ideally familiar with Enterprise Architecture

  • Able to conduct data analysis (SQL)

  • UX/UI Design understanding what works in UI and what does not

  • Familiar with business analysis tool-belt (use case modelling, business rule writing, user story writing, state diagrams, flow diagrams etc.)

  • Know-how in reading Java Code and basic understanding of UI technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and Angular is an advantage as well as knowledge in legacy mainframe systems

  • Fluent in English



Your Responsibilities:


  • Work within an agile scrum team to implement various features and projects in the application landscape

  • As a business engineer, you are in a key role to ensure that the functional requirements are understood, documented and considered correctly in the implementation

  • Create and maintain the product documentation and capture epics and user stories

  • Analyze new business requests and support the effort estimation of the team

  • Conduct business analyses and technical analyses

  • Advise business stakeholders

  • Support testing activities

  • Curate the product and business knowledge
