Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Programme Manager in the various programme workstreams
  • Providing expert insight in all aspects of the software life cycle, including, but not limited to, creation of Deutsche Bank standard terms and conditions, professional interpretation of supplier licencing terms and conditions, risk analysis, compliance positions, purchasing and ongoing management processes and tools and required audit activities.
  • Working with internal Deutsche Bank Software owners, Global Procurement & Software suppliers to optimize Software License to support the programme.
  • Acting as a point of contact for all Software Licensing related topics & questions

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A strong background in banking or similar complex large organisation
  • Expert knowledge or experience in Software License Management, Software Asset Management, Sourcing & Procurement or IT Project Management disciplines
  • Expert understanding of software contract/license types and their meaning and implications for an organization incl. experience or knowledge of open source or Cloud provider software license implications
  • Experience engaging, communicating and influencing senior management of all levels
  • A solid track record of developing concepts, defining & implementing policies & governance and delivering projects
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to demonstrate flexibility in problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in both written and verbal English. German fluency an advantage.
  • A good understanding of the complexities around working in distributed global teams
