Description
Harvey Nash is now recruiting for a Finance Manager, to start ASAP with a public sector client located in Edinburgh (home working in the first instance). This role is inside of IR35 and can pay a daily rate of £150 - £200 a day, candidates must be happy to operate through an umbrella company and have their own disclosure Scotland background check.

- Experience in collection, analysis and reporting of large quantities of qualitative and quantitative data
- CCAB Accountancy Qualification/and or similar
- Significant experience of budget management and forecasting in a complex environment
- Experience of business partnering and/or providing support and challenge to senior colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including the ability to build highly effective working relationships
- Ability to present highly complex financial data to non-specialists in a clear and comprehensible way, challenging proposals when appropriate
- Excellent IT and information management skills especially in excel
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with an ability to exercise judgement appropriately
