Smartsourcing are looking for a Benefits Manager

per day Inside IR35 until .

>Remote working for now.

As Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the mechanism for identifying, base-lining, planning, tracking and reporting of benefits through the programme life cycle into realisation.
The role involves developing and then managing the processes and management systems needed to support and govern effective benefits realisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and determine the Value for Money position of the programme

Identify financial and non-financial benefits within a data driven regulatory environment

Determine and measure KPI's to establish benefit provided to both the data contributors and data users

Develop performance dashboard and reporting

Work and collaborate with multi-level stakeholders to ensure benefits are understood, owned and maximised

Engage with our clients Portfolio Office to assess consistency and test double counting of claimed benefits

Apply experience to provide challenge and ensure assumptions are robust

Have experience in operating within a diverse multi-stakeholder regulatory environment

Define, manage and update the programme's benefit map against investment outcomes, profiles, interdependencies and realisation plans

Provide assurance that all selected component workstreams are aligned to the agreed benefits strategy, map and wider methodology

Support management decision making by analysing benefit options and predicting future costs

Establish and maintain benefit realisation plans, review schedules and change control

Analyse variances and initiate corrective actions with the benefit owners

Facilitate workshops and benefit reviews to validate and test dependencies, providing assurance of benefit realisation plans

Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends as requested by the PMO or other performance/Governance bodies

Support the project manager in preparing and updating the benefits elements of the Business Case working with specialists as required

Essential Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable experience of the development of benefits management strategies, techniques, processes and tools

Demonstrable experience of cost benefit analysis methods and benefit mapping

Proven record of stakeholder engagement and working directly with Executive Teams, Senior Responsible Owners and Corporate Finance

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Familiarity of HM Treasury guidance on how to appraise and evaluate policies, projects and programmes. (Green Book)
