Synchro are proud to be partnering exclusively with a well known retail brand and are seeking a Data Solutions Architect on a contract basis.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing short and long term strategic goals for the management and maintenance of customer systems and software.
Understanding the customer domain and how it supports the various business operational areas.
Ensuring that all systems in place and that are planned are aligned with the goals of the business.
Designing, creating and monitoring the implementation of end to end integrated systems.
Whilst you will understand the end to end processes and systems that are being used to support the business, the main domain for this role will be around the fast changing world of how the client can use technology to deliver a seamless customer digital experience across all of our channels.
Skills & Experience Required
* 3-5 years SA experience, specialising in customer information management.
* Experience in application integration technologies and APIs.
* Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise and Solution Architecture.
* Sound understanding of the varying integration approaches that could be used to support a solution
* Sound understanding of the different styles of application architecture (eg COTS, Enterprise Platform, Microservice based application landscapes)
* Can identify, analyse and resolve system challenges
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Able to communicate to both IT teams in a technical way and business teams in an appropriate business language.
* Able to write clear documentation, either programme specifications or training documents.
* Able to present information in an effective way and respond to questions from groups of managers, users and peers.
* Take a lead role within the IT leadership team providing industry solutions expertise, technical knowledge and best practice.
* Experience of working within an omni-channel business
