One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for an E-commerce Project Manager.

Work tasks

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing initiatives that will grow the customer's brands selling on the marketplace and will give the customers access to products.

The initiatives you will lead normally involve many product teams within Business Tech and many functions of the global business organization within the customer, as well as the marketplace partner. These initiatives typically require a wide range of activities from business analysis and development to tech implementation.

An additional focus area within the role is to act as point of contact for the marketplace partner around business opportunities and to align on roadmap for future growth.

Your tasks consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Leading, managing and executing projects that involve colleagues from Product Teams across the Business Tech organization, from Business Functions in the global business organization, and from the marketplace partner.

Examples of projects:

- Expansion: launching the customer's brands on the marketplace in new countries.

- Improvement of the customer offer (ie launch new payment options)

  • Taking ownership for planning, issue handling and all kinds of project management activities, all adapted to the agile environment within Business Tech
  • Collaborating with several Business functions and Business Tech teams within areas such as Legal, Fulfilment/warehouse, Merchandizing, Order management, Accounting and BI.
  • Manage stakeholders and build tight relationships in Business Tech and other functions towards the team delivery and Objectives and Key Results.
  • Support in the definition of acceptance criteria and participate in UAT as necessary.
  • Collaborate daily with Software engineers, Business Experts, Product Owners within Business Tech as well as with colleagues within the customer Business organization and the marketplace partner organization
  • Participate in team activities and ceremonies with constant improvement as a mindset.

In this role you will also;

  • Be the speaking partner to the marketplace partner around business opportunities, roadmap and backlogs.
  • Perform analysis; assess feasibility and requirements based on business opportunities and needs.

Qualification:

  • Degree within Business and/or Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience from E-commerce and/or marketplace business and great understanding of its business processes (ie customer order management, merchandising, logistics and warehouse, accounting, BI etc.)
  • Strategic, analytical, and fast in understanding and execution
  • Strong communication & presentation skills

Personal Competences

  • Ability to understand and analyse complex information and share it in effective and powerful communications
  • Ability to take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments

Language skills

  • Fluent in English, oral and written
