I have an immediate requirement for a Contract Product Manager for my nationally renowned client to work on a greenfield project on their behalf.
The client are a rapidly growing digital business facing huge opportunities to disrupt a traditionally offline market, and this role will play a leading part in both developing their Product practice, and also in tackling those strategic challenges.
This specific role is to run their core website Product team, initially as they move through a rapid re-platforming exercise. They need to conduct urgent discovery work to understand what opportunities to address as part of the re-platform, and then to begin to define the longer-term product strategy for the website, and also to examine the potential for new digital products.
Key skills & experience
Demonstrable experience of:
- Product discovery methods
- Product managing and successfully delivering commercial products
- Leading cross-functional agile teams
- Developing product practices (eg discovery, delivery, strategy, prioritisation, planning, evaluation)
- Taking broad problems and successfully leading a team in tackling them
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of product strategy
- Lead product discovery and delivery
- Manage the product backlog and prioritisation
- Evaluation and measurement of product success
- Effective stakeholder collaboration, communication and alignment
This is an outside of IR35 assignment for an initial 3 months contract.
It will be remotely based but their will be a need to travel maybe at most 1-2 times per month to their Leicestershire office.
