Are you a passionate and confident Trade Surveillance Analyst ready to make a significant contribution working for one of the UK's fastest growing Financial Services Consultancies?

MHC Overview:
MHC are an award-winning IT and Business Consultancy, specialising in Change Management initiatives, which we deliver working in a collaborative way with our Clients. We are currently working on a wide variety of assignments that include some major Digital Transformation initiatives, Regulatory and Compliance Programmes and Tools adoption projects where we are providing specialist technical and business services to a client base of primarily Tier 1 Banks.

You will have the confidence and the capability to step straight into a specialist consultancy role within one of MHC's Practice areas to provide effective and efficient solutions that support our Clients' business requirements, while working constructively with senior MHC and Client managers and other staff.

Duties;

  • Completion of tasks assigned by the Project Manager and Workstream Lead, to agreed timescales, scope and quality measures

  • Work under direction of the banks product owner for the in-house product

  • Liaise between surveillance IT and users, management of stakeholders and project staff, including surveillance IT teams, vendors, users, project sponsors, managers of other projects and other departments within the bank.

  • Management of workstream activities: prioritizing work activities and issues arising, arranging workshops, tracking progress, promoting collaboration, and escalating issues which cannot be addressed by the workstream staff.

  • Manage all phases of project life cycle: documentation of requirements and acceptance criteria, analysis, design, implementation, designing tests, managing test exercises, coordinating fixes, release management, go-live, user support

  • Carry out full cycle of software implementation: build, test, go-live

  • Support IT leads and surveillance officer ruleset owners in designing and delivering new detection logic for 4-5 new detection models in equity

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant internal policies and control standards, and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group's standards of ethical behaviour

  • Using and adapting the banks Disciplined Agile methodology
