Manufacturing Engineer
£25.08 per hour PAYE (Inside IR35)
Darlington
Initially 6-month contract

Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a large engineering company who operate within the automotive sector and are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work on site in Darlington.

Role Overview
You will lead the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and systems while leading and co-leading teams.

With your Responsibilities and Duties, you will:
*Lead the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspects of a manufacturing
processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met.
*Lead by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.
*You will impact the work by utilizing continuous improvement tools, following standards, and leading the development of manufacturing standards and working methods.
*Lead the communications with and influences key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members.
*You will also work with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.
*And lead the advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices as they are applied, maintain relationships, and coach key stakeholders.

You will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:
*To solve problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determine the assignable cause; implement robust, data-based solutions; identify the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.
*You will model proactive health and safety behaviour by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
*You will be developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
*Apply the application of controls hardware and software by specifying, reviewing, and approving company-owned and/or supplier designs for new or upgrades to existing equipment to interface with all levels of manufacturing systems.
*You will also understand ergonomic concepts by applying ergonomic standards, guidelines, controls and tools to reduce ergonomic risk to employees while at work.
*Integrate the pillars of industrial engineering techniques by applying a comprehensive and quantitative analysis to available data to be used as decision factors for the development or improvement of manufacturing processes to contribute to the most efficient process.
*The ideal candidate will know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
