PLM Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Support
Location: Remote/Crawley (80/20 split)

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £500.00 ped day (umbrella)

Our Crawley based client have an opportuniyt for a Windchill PLM SME to support the deployment of the UK PLM Solution (practice and tool usage) across UK business - delivering PLM practices and services that are best in class to support the needs of the various businesses and functions.

To be the interface between the project and the business in the PLM space
To be the link between the tools, the people and the processes.
To support the data migration from Legacy PLMs to the UK PLM Solution
To provide Post Go Live support to the migrated businesses, focusing on PLM practice and tool usage

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Support the development and deployment of the UK PLM Solution:

Manage and run user groups involving Business Superusers.
Deliver and support classroom and E-learning material
Deliver practice and tool training to UK businesses
Deliver Post Go Live Support to UK businesses, focusing on PLM usage
Support System Verification Testing of the UK PLM Solution with UK Businesses
Support User Acceptance Testing of the UK PLM Solution with UK Businesses
Support System Integration Testing of the UK PLM Solution with UK Businesses
Develop PLM Usage support material
Undertake business process analysis to identify and promote solutions where business efficiency can be improved
Skills

Essential
Expert knowledge in at least one commercial PLM System, preferably PTC WindChill
Good all round knowledge of applications used in key business functions (PLM, ERP, PMO tools, reporting Platforms, etc.)
Ability to be able to deliver training material, process briefings, requirements capture, etc. to small and large audiences.
Implement solutions whether technical and/or process related
Business awareness (Business case, organisation, business process, strategic planning, Business Functions)
Understanding of how the different business functions interact and to be able to translate these interactions into joined up IS solutions and processes.
Desirable
Established Business Analysis skills to identify business need and determine solutions
Recognise the importance that data and data integrity play in managing a business and the tools that support the process.
Understanding of project management principles and processes.
Ability to drive and deliver change management activity.
Able to deliver using established project delivery processes.
