Senior Bid Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Bid Manager for our client who is a Global IT Service Provider to cover Maternity leave for 6 months. This role will be remote.

The candidate will be expected to assist in the qualification, shaping and securing of targeted opportunities in support of growth plans, with an initial focus on either Adaptive Enterprise or Work Life shift.

The Senior Bid Manager will typically lead deals of higher complexity and or of a strategic importance. They will drive the bid team and the business to develop compelling winning propositions that realise our customers' target outcomes whilst maintaining our high standards of corporate integrity. As a Senior Bid Manager you will manage all bidding activities in accordance with recognised bidding best practices from initial customer contact through to contract signature. This will involve the development and execution of winning bid strategies and plans to enable submission of bid responses to requisite time, cost and quality standards.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate

  • A strong track record of winning
  • The ability to lead diverse teams and manage to a budget
  • Ownership of bid strategy along with knowledge and application of best practice principles
  • The ability to influence and communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels.
