Description

Our client is a major telecoms provider and they are looking for an experienced Ariba Buyer.
The role is based in London 2-3 days a week with the rest of the time working remotely.
Why this role matters
The successful candidate will be pivotal in driving the benefit and value from their future buy processes. The role supports the Global Source to Pay Process Owner for the clients global Finance and Procurement transformation programme which is called _Make Finance Brilliant_ (MFB). The programme will replace a large part of the clients Legacy Finance systems (currently based on Oracle) on the implementation of Ariba and SAP S/4 Hana.
Key responsibilities
Own the relationships necessary to implement the buying deliverables both across the business and with the transformation partner teams where required, demonstrating understanding of the financial and operational consequences of performance.
Lead and support process walkthroughs to ensure business understanding and drive adoption of the solution
Define and own detailed plans to meet programme and transformation milestones, escalating risks and issues and important decisions
Engaging and executing continuous improvement initiatives
Support testing & quality management review of the solution design
Develop and maintain training material, process documentation and other supporting material.
Working with the technical, change and business teams to define and agree the cut over and business readiness plans

We'll also need to see these on your CV
Deep and extensive knowledge and understanding of the procurement business process area and principles within a Global organisation
Experience of working in organisations with variety of procurement channels to multiple business units across multiple geographies
Demonstrable knowledge and expertise of design and implementation of Ariba Guided Buying, including catalogues and document automation.
Ideally experience of business process integration between Fieldglass and Ariba for buying
Experience of implementing SAP S/4 Hana with Ariba Guided Buying
Strong and collaborative working approach with a diverse group of stakeholders in multiple locations.
Motivating cross functional teams to successful delivery
Experience of developing, reviewing, and implementing process change
Excellent communication skills writing, facilitation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
