On behalf of our client, a financial service provider based in Luxembourg, we are looking for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
Project Manager IFS IT (f/m/x) financial area Luxembourg - P0044
The Service Level Manager has the functional oversight for all aspects of defining and managing service metrics. He/she is functional expert in the analysis, interpretation and presentation of performance measures to enable senior leadership to understand process performance, report progress against targets (SLAs), and proactively manage goal delivery in alignment with the performance expectations of the organization. The Service Level Manager utilizes operational performance data to characterize opportunities for improvement, and works in partnership with senior leaders and operational groups to drive process optimization and efficiency.
Task and responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will be expected to deliver complex multi-location projects with the best practices, and you will be responsible to:
- Manage complex project streams as part of an overall multi million, multi year Programm
- Ensure successful implementation of IFS projects
- Manage the full life cycle software development
- Ensure that all code changes are sufficiently tested before production implementation
- Deliver on time
- Deliver on budget
- Control scope
- Track and report the project progress to PM governance and management
- Ensure that the reconciliation process of actuals against estimates works efficiently
- Report to senior management on a regular basis
Mandatory skills and experiences
- University degree or equivalent in a computer based discipline
- Ideally Project Management Institute certified PMP project manager
- Solid and proven experience within financial services of complex, multi million euro projects
- Knowledge of the investment funds industry would be considered as a plus
- Good team player with excellent communications skills
- Excellent analytical skills and very strong understanding of the SDLC
- Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; French/German language skills will be an asset
- Ideally PSF certified
Assignment:
- Fulltime (100%)
- Start: ASAP
- Remote work: 50% possible
- Duration: 6 until 12 months
- Location: Luxembourg
