My client is looking for a Commercial Manager/Analyst for an initial 3 month contract inside of IR35.
This role can be based remotely.

Why this Job matters:

The Commercial and Propositions team for SoHo is responsible for setting and delivering the business plan for SoHo by creating the right portfolio and the right commercial/trading plan to deliver great outcomes and win in the market by grow the business profitably.

This role is the custodian of "one truth" on all future activities (12 months to 5 years outlook) on all SoHo impacting activities across all products - Broadband, Lines, Mobile, Data, Switch and IP across EE, BT and Plusnet.

This role holds the "D" for the business case sign-off on all activities impacting the SoHo P&L in the mid to long-term. They will hold consultation meetings with Commercial and Propositions, Finance and Channel leads, and will provide key insight and data points to help drive to the right impact.

What you'll be doing:
Key accountabilities:
*Own & Build the SoHo BT Volume Product MTP Plan
Deliver a consolidated model that shows the hydraulics of the business plan and how the product sets are seamlessly linked together

*Work proactively with stakeholder groups to gather relevant inputs to deliver the monthly outlook update and run "What if?" scenario planning to identify business risks and mitigation strategies

*Forecasting Demand BT & EE Voice & Digital
Work with relevant stakeholders to deliver a long-term view of the Demand Plan for MTP Planning purposes

*Partner with the Desk channel to handle MTP-related questions by working closely with key members of the marketing team

Other accountabilities:
*Work with the Data team to ensure all data necessary to deliver an effective planning process is available to the business

Skills required:
*Use Data and Statistical modelling - Uses complex data analysis to show underlying principles, process, or systems improvements to transform data into an accurate view of future performance

*Agile - Uses collaborative or agile test and learn approaches, contributing to projects and programmes as a subject matter expert or content owner

*Strong Commercial experience in P&L management within a scale business and able to quickly evaluate financial concepts and likely profitability.

*Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate up to Director-level

Experience needed:
*Mandatory: Creating and assessing/signing-off stakeholder business cases

*Mandatory: Experience presenting to Director level as a minimum

*Preferred: Project work involving collaboration with stakeholders across the business

*Preferred: Previous SME/SoHo experience
