Data Analyst - 5 Month Contract - PAYE £173.71 Per Day Including Holiday Pay - York/Remote
SQL/Power BI/Excel/R/MS Access
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
Candidate must be comfortable and proficient in using data science, statistical/analytical techniques and have experience working with specialist analytical software (eg R, SPSS, SAS, Minitab).
Adaptable and comfortable learning new systems, software and packages.
Experience developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using business intelligence/reporting tools.
Experience undertaking advanced analysis using MS Excel.
Use of database systems (eg SQL Oracle, Microsoft Access).
We are keen to speak to candidates with experience using PowerBI for development of reports and dashboards.
Our client is a large Government organisation currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join their team working on a number of fast-paced and high profile Public Sector programmes. The successful candidate will analyse and disseminate operational performance data spanning a range of the organisation's competencies from management to licencing. They will report to the Head of Business Intelligence and engage closely with colleagues across the organisation, to understand their needs and tailor solutions appropriately.
