Description
The Salesforce Functional Consultancy service will be required to:
- Identify how a client's architecture fits together and providing strategic and technical advice
- Understand business and technical requirements and translating these into technical solutions
- Analyse business processes and identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility and recommending new approaches typically seeking to exploit new technology components
- Model processes, architecture, data structures and information required to support Ericsson and their clients' projects
- Develop enterprise-grade architecture and processes which truly utilise and realise the value of salesforce.com application technology
- Work with product management, domain architects and developers to understand the technology landscape and produced integrated end to end solution options that manifest the architectural roadmap
- Actively participate in program increment planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other meetings.
- Contribute to the development of the architectural strategy and roadmap and ensuring it aligns and supports the business and technology roadmaps and enables the expected business outcomes.
- Advise and support on all the aspects of architectural governance
- Contribute to customer meetings and workshops and produce checkpoint reports as agreed.
- Ensure both business strategy and technological direction is aligned
- Take a collaborative role in developing and enforcing Ericsson's set of architecture and development libraries and whitepapers
- Set standards for programming tools and techniques and advise on their application and compliance
- Support project managers in all stages of the software development process
- Assign work through the correct communication channels to technical consultants and monitor performance providing advice, guidance and assistance
The skills the Salesforce Functional Consultant needs to have are:
- Experience in IT Infrastructure Solution Architecture (+ 7 years minimum)
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce solutions, with Salesforce certification
- Experience with databases
- Hands-on experience in deploying, configuring and troubleshooting Salesforce solutions
- Skilled in TOGAF, Agile methodology and ITIL frameworks
- Experience working with customer throughout delivery life cycle of the project supporting project planning and oversighting and assuring implementation as well as designing solutions and creation of design document artefacts.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable skills and expertise include
- Experience in the telecom domain
- Knowledge of Sitetracker
In addition, the Salesforce Functional Consultant will need to
- Work with customers, product management and technical design authorities to drive the technology landscape and produced integrated end to end solution options
