Description
This role is first and foremost about digital product development & ownership as the successful candidate will be creating/deploying new tools and services for our consumers.
Specifically this involves:
- To manage the day-to-day operations of our services including
- Leading & prioritising iterative enhancements & optimisations to existing experiences
- Supporting the team on the management of delivery of sites across SEO, Accessibility & Performance
- Monitoring and reporting on website performance against KPIs to appropriate stakeholders - including leading enhancements to the ecosystem dashboard
- Manage the team of contractors who look after our web estate including PM, SDA, UX designer, and multiple Developers.
- Budget management and optimisation

Key experience/knowledge required would include:
Digital Product/Service Development & Optimisation
- Entrepreneurial/Innovative mindset - keen to explore new ideas and opportunities
- Problem solver - someone who likes to identify challenges and create solutions - for both business & consumer
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, review and analyse data to derive insights to define actions, products or feature development
- Familiar with various forms of consumer testing & research to explore and validate ideas (Qual & quant)
Digital Experience
- Technical Project management experience - eg leading development of websites or other digital experiences
- Understands consumer journeys and motivations in the digital and social space, and the requirements of good User Experience
- Has digital marketing experience and has an appreciation of multi-channel planning to drive engagement with Digital Experiences
- Has experience of digital analytics (particularly Google & Adobe analytics)
- Knowledge and understanding of tagging for data capture & media optimisation
People Management
- Able to manage a team of contractors with specialist skills in UX and Development
- Able to manage a range of stakeholders across brands and markets who may have competing demands
- Able to create a compelling story for senior stakeholders combining data & with solid business logic
Other skills/experience/interests
- Is interested in the future of technology and the role it can play in creating brilliant consumer experiences
- Has an awareness of and interest in trends in the Digital space
- Is a team player and has strong communication skills - will lead communication with other brand teams and functions (inc. IT & Media)

- Able to work with & influence local partners to create and execute the global business plan.
