Infrastructure Solution Architect
Our client, a global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to join their team in their clients' office in Edinburgh or London. You may be able to work remotely until Covid abates.
This is a 6 month temporary contract, to start ASAP.
The right candidate should have good knowledge in Data, MS Application, Azure and Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Minimum 9 years relevant experience
- Good skills in Data, MS Application, Azure and Infrastructure
- Experience in architect, Microsoft application and Infra architect
- Create and lead the process of integrating IT systems as per requirements
- Conduct a system architecture evaluation and collaborate with project management and IT development teams to improve the architecture
- Evaluate project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform process re-engineering if required
- Create a solution prototype
- Define a collaboration framework
- Analyse technical and business requirements
- Update stakeholders on the status of product development processes and budgets
- Notify stakeholders about any issues connected to the architecture
- Fixe technical issues as they arise
- Analyse the business impact that certain technical choices may have on a client's business processes
- Supervise and guide development teams
- Continuously research emerging technologies and proposes changes to the existing architecture
