Description

The Product Owner Branch Networks and Voice is accountable for delivering to our operating companies reliable, secure, compliant and cost effective branch network and voice product and services. He/she is end-to-end responsible towards senior management for a product, across operations and innovation; managing operating companies, vendors and other stakeholders. This includes pricing/charging, cost optimisation and value maximization.

The main activities include:

  • Define a product roadmap and backlog through continuously engaging customers and internal stakeholders
  • Remove impediments that may constraint the delivery of the roadmap
  • Coordination of the network circuit and voice support teams
  • Define product blueprints for our portfolio along with SMEs and architects and initiate delivery of innovation
  • Executes vendor account management and guarantee vendor service levels and ensure KPIs achievement
  • Along with the finance department define the budget and oversee the execution, looking towards improving the costs

Your background

For this global product owner role, you know all ins and outs and are eager to stay up to date with the latest developments on product management practices, on network and voice technology trends. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:

  • working experience 5+ years in a customer facing management role
  • bachelor or master's degree, preferably in Information Technology
  • fluent in speaking and writing in English is a must.

Role related competencies

  • Service Management experience in a complex large scale internal and external environment
  • knowledge of ITSM and agile ways of working frameworks like DevOps, IT4IT, ITIL
  • Effective problem solver with ability to examine and re-engineer processes, procedures and practices
  • High level of IT competence with aptitude for learning new technologies and processes with a focus on Service Desk and ITIL technologies and processes
  • Commercially acumenous - experienced in understanding contractual obligations and working to deliver high quality on this basis
