Project Manager, Project Engineer, 6 months, Abingdon/Remote, up to £300 per day Inside IR35
We require an experienced Project Manager with to join a leading company based near Abingdon on an initial 6 month contract. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of highly complex products and devices, working across the full product life cycle to ensure that the product is delivered to the highest quality within any set timeframes and budgets. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating cross-functional project plans whilst also monitoring project progress and risk. As the Project Manager you will liaise with a range of different teams from Product management through to Operations and Service and you will also be involved with design reviews, production release processes and engineering change.
This position will operate on a hybrid working model however it will require someone to go to site a minimum of three days per week and this contract has been deemed inside IR35.
As the Project Manager you will ideally have the following experience, skill sets and knowledge:
Strong Project Management background with experience of running concurrent projects to deliver products, equipment, devices or similar
Previous experience of product, device or equipment design
Experience of liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, third parties and technical teams
Any knowledge of PLC Electronic/electrical control systems
Knowledge of Product or Engineering specifications - Beneficial
Previous experience of product life cycle management from end to end
Previous experience of creating project plans, schedules, monitoring, reports, forecasting, costs
Risk/change management experience
Knowledge of design for service, assembly or manufacturing
Knowledge of European and International standards eg - MD, ATEX, EMC
