Your Skills
- Many years of experience in Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Receivables departments.
- 10+ years of leadership experience.
- Experience in collaborating across a global organization.
- Proven success as a critical thinker with excellent analytical skills, demonstrating initiative and planning experience.
- Outstanding communicator with an ability to influence and gain alignment in a matrix organization.
- Experience in Automotive, Tier 1
- University Degree – preferred Economics/Accounting/Finance
- Training in CIT and VAT, and Management Accounting
- Bi-Lingual (Polish and English)
- Preferred: Training in CIT and VAT Financial Liquidity Management
- Willingness to work approx. 50% on site in Poland (100 km south of Lublin)
Your Tasks
- Manage the Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Receivables department.
- Design and deliver a vision for a Shared Services Center, supporting receivables in Europe. Ensure appropriate staffing, management and development of this new team.
- Collaborate and create strong partnerships across the finance and accounting team to ensure overall compliance and leverage of best practices.
- Maintain substantive accounting, formal and legal control over all accounting documents.
- Plan financial, accounting and tax-connected tasks through the effective use of company resources.
- Preparation and submission of all necessary reporting, such as monthly Balance Sheets and P&L Accounts, in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP
- Knowledge and compliance with all accounting practices and internal accounting/finance systems.
- Preparation and submission of reports for the Central Statistical Office, the National Bank of Poland and quarterly reports for the Special Economic Zone.
- Preparation of declarations and required statements of excise duty.
- Preparation of annual CIT statements, verification and submission of IFT and ORD-U statements.
- Verification and submission of JPK VAT, VAT-EU Statements.
- Preparation of statements for property tax and tax on means of transport
- Preparation of MDR documentation.
- Preparation of PFRON statements (State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled People).
- Collaboration and support the Director of Finance, Poland and other company leaders on key initiatives.
- Project management leadership and oversight when working on assigned projects: collect, measure, report and communicate progress with key stakeholders.
