Job Title: Performance & Volume Testing (PVT) Assurance Analyst
Location: Remote/Telford
Rate: £380 per day Inside IR35

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled PVT Assurance Analyst to join their team for a six-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible for
1. Performing static test analysis of performance test acceptance criteria, test approach and test evidence, following test execution by the technical teams doing the performance testing.
2. Participate in technical review calls to provide input and steer on test direction
3. Assure test scenarios from technical documentation and identify any dependencies
4. Working with the technical teams to review and assure their performance test scenarios and test evidence
5. Ensuring all subordinate test documentation and test evidence (eg JMeter reports) are produced by the appropriate technical team, with clear traceability back to the acceptance criteria
6. Checking that the performance tests planned by the teams doing the testing provide appropriate coverage of both expected and unexpected behaviour
7. Undertaking traceability of the acceptance criteria against the test evidence/results to ensure the component/s have been tested accurately
8. Validating infrastructure utilisation statistics from the performance test execution runs undertaken by the technical teams (ie CPU, RAM, Memory and Storage capacity)
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. An understanding of Performance & Volume Test (PVT) testing
2. Infrastructure testing experience (with at least three years focused on Non-Functional Testing)
3. Good understanding of Risk-Based Testing (RBT) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
4. Good understanding of agile delivery life cycles
5. Experience of JIRA and Confluence
6. An understanding of how infrastructure utilisation statistics are reported
7. Able to hold complex test discussions with architects, SMEs and Operational Teams
8. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
9. ISTQB Advanced Level Technical test analyst

* Flexible and creative, working around logistical and technical blockers to progress
