Description
Mentmore is currently recruiting for a Solution Architect for our client, a global organisation that is undertaking a large-scale transformation programme. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Solution Architect with extensive experience in delivering complex solutions and technical architecture for programmes of work and strong knowledge in COTS architecture, platforms & technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for solution architecture, technical and system design activities.
- Lead development of the solution and technical architectures
- Ensure that the solution design meets the technology strategy of the business.
- Ensuring that solution and technical architectures balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements.
- COTS architecture, platforms & technologies
- Craft solutions and govern the solutions as they are being deployed into the organisation.
- Monitor technical progress, ensuring that coordination and change control are applied to technical specifications and to the technical infrastructure.
- Waterfall and agile development
- Inform technical leadership and project management of major technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good senior-level stakeholder management soft skills and competencies.
Required skills:
- 5 years of Solution Architecture experience
- Track record in delivery of the solution and technical architecture for programmes of work.
- In-depth technical knowledge in COTS architecture, platforms & technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Work experience of waterfall and agile development approaches.
- Knowledge of modelling standards, TOGAF and DevOps tools
