Description

Project Goals - EUC

  • Deploy new devices to end users and ensure they are fully operational eg, data & applications required to operate are present
  • Ensure Hitachi Energy Global IT Infra services availability (incl localization if/where needed) to enable device migration
  • Replace all end users' devices with the new PG build (either new device or re-purposed existing device (from divested party). Make sure the user works "with a new device" with no operational or at least minimal disruption.
  • Migrate all printer/scanner devices to Hitachi Energy management & control

01 Overall management Participation & Execution of:

  • Activities as part of device and end user migration for TSA Exit
  • Coordination support across various stakeholders
  • Support for tracking and reporting status of end user migration activities

Work with Countries, Sites, Country IT SPOC's and HW Procurement Teams on Hitachi Energy and Vendor side to cleanse EUC data then baseline/order/fulfil any new required HW in a timely manner

  • Track and communicate progress, risk and issues

02 Standardized Approach Lead and Deliver:

  • Facilitation of workshops for various end user migration activities based on best practice and considering Hitachi Energy requirements
  • Documentation of outcomes and approach for end user migration in order to make it accessible to wider audience

03 Project Plan Lead and Deliver:

  • Collaborative planning sessions for end user migration activities
  • Detailed project plan for overall end user migration
  • Alignment of plan with implementation project management and key domain stakeholders
  • Assignment of roles and responsibilities to team members

04 Reporting Mechanism Setup

  • Follow current reporting mechanism to show progress of country deployment and transition activities and give transparency over roadblocks
  • Manage implementation of reporting in tools (mainly excel, SharePoint) where required

05 Device Migration Execution Complete the following activities as part of the overall wave deployment plans:

  • Track and communicate progress, risk and issues
