Role Description:
The Service Delivery Manager will act as the Category, Quality and technical Project Manager for the development of the Cyber Virtual Learning Environment (C-VLE) in support of the Joint Cyber User. They will provide: In-depth Technical knowledge of the Defence Learning Environment (DLE) Rubrik; Defence Learning Environment Tool Set; Experience in Category Management; Quality Assurance and knowledge of the defence Cyber environment to support Service Management of the C-VLE and Engagement between the TRA, DLMC Programme and Supplier of the C-VLE Build.
Category Management
The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will oversee the sub-category architecture used to support the creation of learning pages for Joint Cyber User.
To achieve this they must have knowledge and experience of:
-Creation and development of training category architectures for complex training paths (Essential).
-Optimising training category architectures to meet the capabilities of the DLE (Essential).
-Development of training category architectures for Cyber Security training (Essential).
-Development of Moodle training environment within the extant MOD training policies (Essential).
Quality Management
The SDM will develop and execute processes to ensure the development of the C-VLE is in accordance with users' needs and requirements.
To achieve this they must have knowledge and experience of:
-Developing Quality Management systems for learning environments (Essential).
-Standards and approaches to quality management applied by the DLE (Essential).
-Development and assessment of Key Performance Indicators (Essential).
-The application of diverse quality standards and requirements to all stages of training. (Essential).
Technical Project Management
The SDM will act as project manager for the development of the C-VLE in terms of defining, scheduling and overseeing the work packages delivered by others. (They will not execute direct commercial management of other suppliers).
To achieve this they must have knowledge and experience of:
-Developing technical architecture for virtual learning environments (Essential).
-The integration of the software components making up the DLE, including but not limited to, Moodle and Mahara (Essential).
-Development of Cyber Workforce Dashboards utilising the native Management Information Systems and tools within the DLE to allow for effective and efficient balancing of the cyber workforce through the training pipeline (Essential).
-Planning and leading the development of virtual learning environments (Essential).
-Data gathering, analysis and reporting processes and outputs. (Essential).
-Being the key interlocuter for systems and products interfacing with a VLE including current or potential training management systems (such as ALARMS and CTMS) and other training systems such as Immersive Labs.
