Service Designer - Contract - Remote Working - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Service Designer to work at a leading consultancy client of ours, who are partnered with a government organisation, on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a dynamic, Agile-focused team that are delivering major transformational change to the organisation's digital functions and will be responsible for designing the end-to-end journey of these services.

Responsibilities include:

- The creation of, or change to, transactions, products and content across both digital and offline channels provided by different parts of the organisation.

- Working with multi-disciplined teams to deliver successfully in accordance with Agile methods

- Build successful teams through the understanding of team styles and work collaboratively across the community.

- Provide input into determining patterns, standards, policies, roadmaps and vision statements.

- Understand users and able to identify who they are and what their needs are, based on evidence.

Experience required:

- Strong background in service design, and/or architecture roles

- Demonstrable experience in working within Agile-focused environments

- A user-led approach to design and integration

- Previous work in the government sector would be desirable

- Knowledge of the GDS principles and standards would also be advantageous

- Experience of providing design and strategy expertise through the end-to-end delivery of digital services

- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

- Ability to engage with, and manage, a number of high-level stakeholders
