*Freelance Medical Information Specialist - Hybrid Work*A well-established medical communications agency is looking for a Medical Information Specialist on a 12-month contract to support their growing team.
You would be working to support the neurology manager to handle medical information inquiries, conducting literature searches and writing detailed global response documents.
Responsibilities of the role will be attached below:
- Complete product and therapy area training
- Follow client instructions and processes for managing inquiries
- Using systems to manage inquiries and all aspects of response document development and approvals
- Monitor the inquiry system for inquiries escalated to the team
- Undertake appropriate literature searches
- Define the scope of the literature search and identify appropriate keywords accordingly to address the inquiry topic
- Critically evaluate literature search results
- Identify key references of relevance to the inquiry
- Critically assess content of each reference to identify the key information and data of relevance to the inquiry
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in Medical Information
- Writing experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare/medical communications setting
- Ability to interpret and analyse clinical or scientific data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A strong commitment to providing high-level client service and delivering results
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
The role would start in mid-March and would require travel to the office up to 2 days a week.
