Document Controller - Actuarial (Insurance) - Contract - 6 months
Working with a Global Insurance Company that specialise in commercial insurance and reinsurance products. This role will within the actuarial modelling function, the risk management function and the validation function. The team consists of a number of Risk Owners who are responsible for preparing technical documentation for an Internal Model Application Process and so the Technical Author will be working closely with a number of these people
The key responsibilities for this role includes:
- Be required to work with Risk Owners to consolidate and structure the documentation for the application including the production of a standardised suite of documentation, ensuring consistency of terminology, references and structure.
- The technical author will be required to maintain documentation through a number of iterations ensuring that as documents change, the relevant updates are made consistently across the documentation suite, with the goal of creating a streamlined, easy-to-read, final documentation pack.
The key experience and knowledge required for this role includes:
- The candidate will need to have excellent documentation skills with a deep knowledge of Microsoft Word and solid organizational skills.
- The candidate will also need to have good interpersonal skills in order to be able to work closely with individuals from a range of functional areas.
- Broad understanding of actuarial and finance terminology is required preferably with experience of working with Internal Model and Risk Management documentation in the past,
