IT Support Analyst - 12 Months Contract - Dublin/Remote
Essential:
5-7 years' experience in supporting diverse range of applications on multitier architectures. Windows 10 Operating System. Experiencing supporting Engineering Design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, Bentley MicroStation, PLSCADD, Meridian etc. Understanding of relational databases, in particular SQL Server. Microsoft365 and MS Office suite of applications including MS Word, MS Excel etc.
IT Support Analyst nice to have
  • Digital & Cyber Security Technologies
  • Process Modelling
  • Application deployment tools such SCCM
  • Working knowledge of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
  • Windows Server variants up to current versions
  • Software development experience
  • Experience in VBA Development in particular its use with MS Excel
IT Support Analyst will be working within the IT&D Team, you will be part of a highly motivated and skilled team of IT Professionals working to achieve maximum value for their customers and all their IT investments across a range of technologies. Various third-party applications. This role relates to the process support of the various third-party and bespoke applications. This role will also be key to the processing of business-related IT Service Requests and liaising with Enterprise Services central IT Delivery, in particular IT Service Delivery. This role will also provide support to both corporate driven IT business projects.
IT Support Analyst key responsibilities: -

  • IT Support Analyst to provide technical expertise for complex process support issues
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of application issues
  • Change management, understanding the impact of changes on applications
  • Maintain roadmaps and documentation for the applications the team support
  • Monitoring system availability and providing recommendations to ensure the highest level of availability
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements opportunities across the landscape of supported applications (as well as documenting same)
  • Regular engagement with our key stakeholders across Engineering and Major Projects is a feature of this role
  • Partake in benchmarking exercises as required
  • Produce options analysis when required
  • Participate in service review meetings with IT Service Delivery, vendors and/or customers as required by the IT & Digital Business Partner
  • Assisting project teams in the planning, delivery and integration of new third party IT applications and business processes, while ensuring knowledge transfer to the relevant support team
  • Support execution of GDPR related activities for Major Projects in particular the confidential execution of SAR's (Subject Access requests)
