Release Manager, Dynamics 365 (F&O, CE), Azure, Fully Remote, Contract until October 2022, £525 p/day Inside IR35
Working for a consultancy company who are running a large Dynamics 365 ERP, CRM and Azure Digital Transformation (F&O, CE) - you will be the Release Manager responsible all technical releases related to the programme.
You'll be an expert in release management, software development life cycle and have worked within Dynamics 365 ERP (F&O), CRM and Azure projects, and handle software infrastructure management & configuration management.
You'll have full oversight of release management including: Plan release windows and the overall release life cycle, managing risks that may affect release scope, communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, measure and monitor progress, ensure releases are delivered within quality and well within the process and scope, and managing the whole environment estate for the programme.
This position sits within the Digital Transformation programme Team. This role will report to Senior Delivery Director of the Programme and will interact with respective Project Managers, Solution Architects and Technical Leads, and will mainly involve:
Responsibilities:
- Plan release windows and the overall release life cycle;
- Managing risks that may affect release scope;

- Ensure releases are delivered within quality and well within the process and scope;
- Managing the whole environment estate for the programme.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Release Manager for a transformation project within a Microsoft Cloud environment
- Ability to handle software infrastructure management & configuration management
- An expert understanding of software development life cycle
- Structured thinking
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional work teams up to task completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
