We have a great new role currently available. We are looking for a Data Migration manager who will report to the HCM technical project lead and will be responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of the Data Migration in the HCM project.
The Data Migration Manager will have complete responsibility for:
Leading on the data migration needs for the new solutionOverseeing and ensuring delivery of all aspects of data analysis, mapping and transferOwning the quality of the migrated data and the validity of the migration processes and operationResponsibilities include:
Maintaining and reviewing the approved data migration strategy for the implementationEnsuring that stakeholders are aware of the data migration strategyEnsuring that there are no gaps between the technical designs and the data migration objectsthat need to be migratedIdentifying the data migration impact of all proposed changesReviewing gaps and proposing a solution for data migration during the solution design phasePlanning and monitoring data conversion activitiesDefinition of the data migration testing plans and schedule including several dry run cyclesand Payroll parallel testing run.Coordinating and monitoring participation in data migration activities,Planning activities to ensure that all available data can be migrated prior to the final integrationtesting cycleProviding data migration readiness input to the Go/No-Go decision(s)Develop a common cut-over plan and approach, working closely with the Business team andthe Delivery ManagerPlans, coordinates and monitors cut-over activitiesTechnical skills
Experience leading data migrations - including defining processes, understanding risksStrong data analysis skillsHas led data migration activities, managing resources to deliver migration activitiesAbility to report on project progressDeep knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Experience in Data Migration between SAP and Workday system is desiredContact Information
