Strategic Buyers - INSIDE IR35 - Up to £39 per hour - BPSS Clearance - 14 Months - Stevenage, Broughton or Filton - IMMEDIATE STARTWe are on the lookout for Procurement Specialist to join our client as Strategic Buyers.
Responsibilities:
- Management and execution of the procurement strategy for the project aligned with the project MDT (Multi-Divisional and Multi-Functional team dedicated to the project) including the relationship management with associated key-stakeholders.
- Plan, support and perform international and cross-divisional CFTs.
- Conduct negotiations, negotiate and re-draft contract amendments, supplier selection and contracting.
- Utilise General Procurement tools in the process to execute CFTs including in particular -
- Sourcing/tender tool
- Contract tool
- Purchase order system
- Manage internal alignment and approvals at key milestones with the General Procurement organisation and multi-functions key stakeholders.
- Ensure that deliverables can be managed and driven by implementation of contractual terms (cost, time, quality and associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure Corporate Instructions and Processes are known and followed to maintain compliance and reduce risk.
- Support MDT reviews and workshops, understand and contribute towards Project objectives.
- Specific objectives as included in lead role above as agreed with Project Procurement lead.
- Facilitate co-ordination and support MDT and Supplier engagements.
- Collection distribution and analysis of tender bidder proposal material.
- Contribution towards creation of documents supporting Steering reviews, Milestone gate approvals, Final approvals.
- Facilitate and Co-ordinate key Supplier reviews

Professional experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience within procurement
- Experience in leading MFT/MDT and improvement projects for procurement.
